Get Hooked on Scottish Country Dancing

Formed in the 1960's the home of the club has changed over the years; firstly in the hall at Greywell, then at the original Elizabeth Hall, followed by the new Elizabeth Hall and since 2011 at the Newnham Village Hall.
After a slow start, post Covid pandemic our membership has reached 20 to 22, with average weekly attendance of 16 to 18
Our more experienced dancers help newcomers to learn the basic steps and formations.
We dance to recorded music and each dance is walked through before the music starts.
The Newnham Village Hall is not large enough for us to hold dances, but we have close links with
and regularly attend their dances at the Sherborne St John Village Hall, Basingstoke
